The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be an integral part of the finance department and report to the Director of Finance. The FP&A Analyst will assist with the preparation of financial reports, Budgets, Forecasts, Management and Board of Directors materials, monthly financial analysis materials and ad hoc analysis needs of the company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help execute budget preparation and on-going tracking of actual vs. budget analysis
  • Maintain the rolling forecasts of the company and manage the long term financial model
  • Help execute month-end and quarter-end financial reports
  • Drive key insights and analytics
  • Work with business operations and other key stakeholders to generate requested reporting
  • Provide decision making support analysis for projects, customer transactions and other initiatives
  • Assist in developing finance and business operations and the related supporting materials
  • Manage the monthly commission plan calculations for payroll

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of accounting and finance principals
  • Good analytical skills
  • Organized, flexible and easily adaptive to changing conditions
  • Ability to work well in high pressure situations to meet deadlines
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities
  • High energy

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a FP&A in a High-Tech company, preferably in subscription revenue environment - SAAS
  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Economics, Accounting
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, long-term strategic planning and resource allocation processes
  • Advantage –familiarity with NetSuite and Adaptive Insight
