Dr. Tal Schwartz is Chairman and CEO of ClickTale. He founded ClickTale with Arik Yavilevich in 2006 with the vision of making the web a better place by revolutionizing web analytics and providing deep insights into customer behavior. ClickTale has grown from a groundbreaking idea into the worldwide leader of Customer Experience Analytics serving tens of thousands of customers from around the globe. For its revolutionary service, ClickTale has been lauded as one of Red Herring's Top 100 Most Promising Companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2008 as well as one of the 15 Hottest Israeli Internet Companies in 2008 by the California Israel Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout his career, Tal has also been committed to using technology to produce positive social change. In 2004, he co-founded the Bronica Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at the Technion, as well as the Technion Entrepreneurship Club which helps student-based technology startups become successful. In 2000, he founded Expand Beyond Corporation, which developed software that allowed IT Professionals the freedom to work wirelessly, which was later acquired by Semotus Corporation.
Tal has been a lecturer and Visiting Professor at numerous universities, including Caltech, Technion, Tel-Aviv University, the University of Haifa, and DePaul University. Tal holds bachelors degrees in Engineering and Applied Science and in Economics from the California Institute of Technology and a Doctorate in Finance from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
Arik Yavilevich founded ClickTale with Tal Schwartz in 2006. As Chief Technology Officer, Arik oversees all research and development at ClickTale. His career objective is to use disruptive technologies to bring innovation to the world!
For over 10 years, Arik has been a technology leader and innovator in software and Internet applications. Prior to founding ClickTale, Arik developed advanced desktop and web-based applications at the Technion - Israel’s Institute of Technology, Applied Materials, and various eCommerce and software companies in Israel. Arik also runs a micro ISV (independent software vendor) as a hobby.
Arik holds a bachelors degree in computer science from the Technion, Israel and has served with the elite computer division of the Israel Defense Forces.
As VP of Sales and Business Development, Sharon Magen is in charge of sales, partner relations and strategic alliances. Sharon has extensive business and technical background in the Internet field. He has previously worked as a Business Director at ICQ (an AOL company) where he managed a team in charge of business activities in Eastern Europe including sales, business development and marketing. Earlier in his career, Sharon worked as a Product Manager at ICQ where he was responsible for the company's joint products with 10 international strategic partners.
Sharon holds a bachelors degree in computer science from Tel-Aviv University, Israel and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Mr. Yoav Andrew Leitersdorf has been a successful entrepreneur, investor and advisor in the technology and new media fields for the past 15 years. He is the founder and Managing Partner of YL Ventures, a venture capital fund that he designed based on his own experiences as an entrepreneur, with a unique strategy of achieving short-term, medium-sized exits of technology companies via strategic acquisitions.
Amongst his other achievements, Mr. Leitersdorf is the cofounder and was the Managing Director and CEO of Movota Ltd. (London). He also co-founded and was the chief technology officer of ExchangePath Ltd. (New York). Early in his career he founded and was CEO of PcEntertainer Magazine, the world’s first online multimedia magazine publisher.
Mr. Leitersdorf holds an MBA from Columbia University (beta gamma sigma) and has studied International Business at the International Institute of Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has three registered international patents.
Mr. Robert Goldberg is a Venture Partner at YL Ventures, having joined the firm in March 2008. He constitutes YL Ventures’ permanent presence in Silicon Valley, and helps the firm’s entrepreneurs access valley-based customers, partners and potential acquirers.
Mr. Goldberg was the Managing Director at Idealab, an early stage investor and incubator. There he became an acknowledged expert and innovator in the capital efficient strategy of "milestone investing" which ties frequent operating milestones to successive capital investments. Some of Mr. Goldberg’s investments include Clickshift, Brightmail, Snap, Insider Pages, X1, New.net/Vendare Media, Personal Bee, Trufina and Energy Innovations. Prior to joining Idealab, Mr. Goldberg spent more than 20 years in senior management and strategy positions at Internet, e-commerce and enterprise software companies, including NBCi, Looksmart, and Thinking Machines.
Mr. Goldberg has developed and invested in successful companies across many industries including Web Search, Decision Support Systems, Enterprise Search, Performance Based and Cross Media Advertising. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science from Columbia University in New York City.
